GROUP COMMERCIAL & SOURCING CONTROLLER
Do you want to influence commercial decisions, pricing, sourcing performance, and profitability at Group level? Join Viking Malt as our Group Commercial & Sourcing Controller and become a key partner in driving profitable growth across our international business.
In this role, you will be part of group finance team and work closely with our Commercial and Sourcing teams, providing financial insights, analyses, and decision support that help to optimize profitability and business performance. You combine strong analytical capabilities with business partnering to support strategic and operational decision-making across the Group. You will report to Director, group business controlling and in matrix to functional leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner for Commercial and Sourcing functions
Deliver profitability analyses and business insights across customers & products
Support pricing governance, pricing transparency, and margin development
Drive sourcing controlling activities, including purchasing, inventory, pricing, and cost analysis
Support in monthly reporting & forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes
Provide recommendations that enable data-driven business decisions
Develop reporting, analytics, and controlling processes together with group finance team and key stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Success in this role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the courage to both challenge and support sales and sourcing teams. You are able to communicate complex financial matters and concepts also to stakeholders outside the finance function. You are proactive and systematic, and able to understand large and complex business topics. You can manage and coordinate several simultaneous priorities and perform well under pressure. You should have a suitable university degree, either bachelor’s or master’s level, in finance, business, or a related field, as well as fluent written and spoken English. Our ideal candidate has experience working in an international environment. In addition experience in FMCG, agriculture, or manufacturing industries is considered a strong advantage.
