To strengthen Berner Turf in Norway, we’re hiring a
SALES MANAGER
to grow the sales of products and services for golf courses and sports turf facilities nationwide.
What you’ll do
- Own and grow a named customer portfolio, while actively developing new business with golf clubs, sports venues, municipalities, and service contractors.
- Advise customers on best-fit solutions across a wide range of turf needs. Our offering includes fertilizers, plant protection products, and seeds, which you help customers use effectively and sustainably in their turf management.
- Work closely with our Nordic Berner Turf team to plan and deliver marketing activities (events, demos, campaigns).
- Spend time on site with customers, supporting them hands-on with day-to-day turf challenges.
- Report to Business Manager, Saila Innanen.
Territory & travel: Nationwide customer base with a strong focus on Southern Norway. This is a field-based role with regular travel within Norway and occasional travel to other Nordic countries. Preferred home base: Southern Norway.
What you’ll bring
- Education in turf management / greenkeeping, horticulture / landscaping, or strong, relevant industry experience.
- The ability to work proactively and independently, with strong self-leadership and an understanding of the business and financial aspects of your work. Experience in sales or customer relations is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on mindset.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluency in Norwegian and good command of English.
